BABES. WE HAVE IT. IT IS IN OUR HANDS. WE WENT TO BARNES & NOBLE AND BROUGHT HOME A COURT OF SPLINTERED HARMONY AND I AM NOT OKAY.
Look at her. LOOK AT HER. The pink-to-orange gradient? The cover? The fact that we get to step back into this world again?!
I swear, there is something so special about walking into a bookstore on release day, seeing a book you’ve been waiting for sitting there in a whole glorious stack, and getting to take YOUR copy home.
And now comes the dangerous part.
Actually reading it.
Because Sarah J. Maas, you have given me some of my all-time favorite bookish feelings. A Court of Mist and Fury permanently altered my brain chemistry, and I have been chasing that high ever since. Rhysand, the Night Court, the drama, the yearning, the absolute AUDACITY of these fae men.
I am walking into this one with hope in my heart, expectations in the atmosphere, and absolutely no idea what I’m about to get myself into.
NO SPOILERS. WE HAVE BARELY STARTED.
Right now, we’re just happy to be back. Happy to have the book. Happy to turn those first pages and remember why this world captured us in the first place.
Will I be emotionally destroyed? Will I fall in love all over again? Will I need to lie facedown on the floor when I finish?
ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
