Dark Romance, Taboo & Bully

“Read the content notes. Then read the book. In that order.”

The dark shit tag. Stalkers, captors, bullies, men the law would like a word with. Fiction that goes to uncomfortable places on purpose — which is exactly why the notes come first here.

What you’ll find here

Dark is not the same as spicy

Books tagged dark shit. Some are explicit, some aren’t; what they share is darkness in the relationship itself — coercion, obsession, violence, taboo. I flag content notes in each review, and a book being on this shelf is not a promise that it is “safe” for any particular reader.

Enjoying dark romance on the page is a reading preference, full stop. It isn’t a confession and it isn’t a diagnosis.
