Before the shadow daddies, there were the YA years, and I have never fully recovered. Young adult fantasy and romance: the Iron Fey, Caraval, Seven Realms, the Lunar Chronicles, The Cruel Prince, and the first half of Throne of Glass before it grew up with me.
Everything on this shelf is teen-appropriate — no on-page spice, by definition. Every cover links to my real review, highest-rated first, and yes, I still rate YA as hard as everything else.
