Succubus Heat by Richelle Mead
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I’ve always been enchanted by succubus.
They are fiesty, powerful, flexible mythology to adapt to several book worlds. And in this world? Georgina Kincaid is at the literal bottom of the foodchain

After reading a couple mega-all-powerful teenagers , this was a much needed and freshing change of pace that our herorine has powers but shes middle of the whole power scale in this large mythology world. And she has to use her smarts and trickery to keep up – i mean out of trouble with the top dogs.
In all seriousness, I just wanted a sacrastic no-shame herorine who gets caught in all sort of mischief with a fun urban fantasy world.
And that is literally all this series is!
The writing is simple but amazing plot reveals and twists from the first book revealed 4 later if you are willing to go on the insane journey. The plot was an engaging for mystery of each book in the series. The characters are entertaining. I was always hooked in the last chapter to grab the next one and enjoy the ride. Its a playful mix of mythology and classic tropes and some great theater references
“Jerome got summoned—which means he’s trapped somewhere and—”
“Whoa, wait. Summoned? Like in Dr. Faustus?”
