The slow burn is killing me.
This is an adult book so all the 🌶️fun🌶️ aspects arent there and its giving me withdrawal.

Morgan our MC continues to be a baddie who wants to fight
“Instead she’d never felt like more of an outsider.
Maybe she just needed to work harder to get under their skins.
Morgan studied each of them more closely, using their reflections in the glass, silently plotting their downfall.”

For a reverse harem I really was expecting heavy on the sex with some fun hot alphas and MAYBE some shaky worldbuilding to go with.
When ironically it was the opposite.
We get an intense unique world and I could see a longer more epic series being built outta it.
“She’d studied creatures all her life and hated that she couldn’t place this one.
As if reading her mind, Draven whispered, “It’s a Cù Sith.”
“Say again?”
He turned toward her with dark eyes that didn’t hold a speck of hope. “Others call them Black Dogs or Ghost Dogs. They are a myth—a creature said to haunt the moors of Scotland.”
“Lessons later.” Morgan glanced back to see the dog was only a yard away and gaining fast. “How do we kill it?”
Overall, this review is so short because I cant remmeber any real distinctive details. It wont be a reread but it was an enjoyable filler book that i went through pretty quickly.
